Connoisseur Ice Cream has collaborated with OddFellows Ice Cream Co. from Brooklyn, New York to create a unique range of flavours that will take you on a journey through 4 iconic Brooklyn neighbourhoods.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. was started in Wiiliamsburg, Brooklyn in 2013 and has quickly established a cult following for their innovative flavour combinations.
Connoisseur’s Brooklyn Collection’s 4 flavours are:
- Coney Island – Golden Syrup with a Butter Swirl & Corn Nuts – Inspired by nostalgic Coney Island with its amusement park and famous boardwalk – a combination of golden syrup ice cream with crunchy corn nuts and a buttery swirl.
- Bed Stuy – Peanut Butter & Pretzel with Sweet Cream – Inspired by the bodegas (corner stores) of one of Booklyn’s most historically and culturally significant suburb, Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed Stuy) – this ice cream is a combination of salty peanut butter swirl and choc coated pretzels with sweet cream vanilla ice cream.
- Flatbush – Chocolate Brownie with Chocolate Custard – Ebinger’s Bakery, first opened in Flatbush, Brooklyn was famous for its Blackout Cake which was a chocolate layer cake filled and frosted with dark fudge and chocolate cake crumbs. Inspired by that cake this ice cream is a combination of chocolate ice cream with chewy chocolate brownie pieces and swirled with a rich chocolate custard.
- Williamsburg – Matcha Green Tea with White Chocolate Waffle Cone – Inspired by the trendsetting Williamsburg which is the centre of the hipster universe and also the home of OddFellows Ice Cream Co. – a combination of matcha green tea ice cream filled with crunchy white chocolate coated waffle cone pieces.
