The Maragogype, often referred to as the “Elephant Bean” for its enormous size, is one of the rarest coffee beans in the world. With a medium roast, the Maragogype bean has a sweet and delicate fruitiness, notes of spice and chocolate with a warm toasty finish.

Due to its low yield, only a few plantations in the world continue to grow the Maragogype, with Nicaragua being the single largest remaining producer.

For over 25 years, Vittoria Coffe has been sourced the finest quality Maragogype beans, ethically and sustainably. The result is the continued support of the people and communities that still grow this rare varietal.
