Yowies are back!

Yowie chocolates – Australia’s answer to Kinder Surprise – are returning to Australia since 2005 after being relaunched in the U.S. 3 years ago.

Yowies, originally launched in Australia and New Zealand in 1995 by Cadbury, saw them become one of the most popular sweets in Australia, selling 65 million units worth more than $100 million in sales in one year.

Each Yowie Chocolate contains a small toy based on a cast of characters created by best-selling authors Bryce Courtenay and Geoff Pike.
